Great War Action in East Africa
« on: February 18, 2011, 06:20:47 AM »
After finishing up a few of my East African troops I thought it was time to get them on the table! This evening we played a quick game with them. A brief report of the action and a lot of pictures can be found on my blog:

Retreat from Boongobe

The rules we used were a mix of elements from Ever Victorious Armies and Contemptible Little Armies (I like to call them Ever Contemptible Armies).

Here's a few of the Pics...

Here they come!

The Belgians making a run for it!

King's African Rifles trying to hold their ground against a flood of pursuing German Shutztruppe askaris.

This is going to turn out badly...

Was it Woody Allen who said in one of his films : "Those chocolates are made in Belgium by true Belgiumites!"... or something...

Nice miniatures, nice-looking battle.

Great looking collection! I like the zebra pattern shields the native spearmen are carrying, they look striking even from a distance.
