Statuesque's Kitzie Rama painted
« on: February 26, 2011, 04:02:45 PM »
Hi, I've finally painted my first miniature in well over a year. I decided to keep things simple with just one highlight for each colour (except the hair) as I knew I'd get carried away trying to blend everything and never get it finished. It won't be to everyone's taste but I quite like it. There is a bit more contrast in the shading in real life though.

Wow, it's perfect! I love the face and the shadows of the dress.

Nice job, especially with the dress. Primo!

Thanks folks.  :)

How did you do the stockings?

The stockings were done in two layers of a mix of Citadel Foundation Tallarn Flesh and Charadon Granite, then a thinned wash of the Citadel Badab Black wash. Nice and simple really.

I actually used Charadon Granite for the shade mix of all the colour as well as the 'black lining'. I seem to be somewhat obsessed with the stuff. But I think it nicely ties all the colours together.
