Foundry vs. Perry ACW?

Can anyone comment on how well the Foundry ACW figures scale with Perry ACW-line?

Cheers

Although the Perry figures, both plastic and metal are slightly thinner than the Foundry versions, visually they go all right together. But for my money, the Perry ACW plastic figures, except the horses, are not that good. The metals are excellent. On the plus side, the new plastic zouaves do look ok, and you get loads of spare bits in the plastic boxes for converting metal figures with.

Beware though that even if Foundry and Perry’s ACW Infantry go well together, you can’t really mix the Cavalry figures… In fact they look pretty ridiculous next to each other because the horses on Perry’s (plastic) are A LOT bigger (taller) than the Foundry’s metal.
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Tell you what though, the Foundry cavalry figs look brilliant on the plastic horses, and yes all in all I prefer the Foundry ACW, but don't let that stop you using some Perry metals in the mix, but my advice, skip the plastics for now.

For example, all riders are Foundry metals, on Perry plastic horses.
