Yes you are right hammershield the cavemen are so brilliant painted but I have see the painting ones bevore .I think at wichhunters babarians or at the steve dean side .
So my meaning is that Mike D. Mc Brice have enugh skill to make his own color
schema for the cavemen he diden´t have to copy.
Then I look at the shaman and I see these wonderful bodypaintings and I KNOW i HAVE TO COPY THAT
Maby I am to critical but Mike is the best one here and so I think I can be more critical then to other painters.(don´t blame me Tom )

so after all my vote gos to the U.S. Marines they are good painted and have a nice background .

That's fine Grimm. I'd be curious to see any photos of similar figures from Alex or Steve though since I can't remember any.
I had painted some Vikings in a similar style a few years back, you sure you didn't saw these?

Grimm, that was not my idea at all, I've stolen it from Kevin Dallimore    And I think Tom has painted some of  his Vikings in similar way years before i painted these Ancient Germans  :)

Cross-fertilisation of creative ideas keeps the world interesting!

Black and tan is a classic colour combination, which top painters will know very well.

Those handprints are pure genius, and brilliantly executed.

No disrespect to Ironworker's US Marines, which are extremely well painted. Personally, Pulp Figures never quite do it for me - whereas Copplestone is, for me, the master. So it's also difficult to set apart the painting from one's instinctive preference for certain sculptors.

All part of the fun I guess...

Lovely stuff, being a Caveman enthusiast they pipped the Yankees for me. I love the little hand prints. :)

Those are a nice set of Barbarians Mike!  I really like their warpaint.

Sadly I couldn't manage a new team this week, came close but didn't quite make it, so my Marines are going to have to hold the line.
