Big angry croc
« on: 12 March 2011, 01:03:22 AM »
Found this mini while reading a batrep on a game called Song of Blades and Heroes. Immediately had to have one of my own. He is from a manufacturer called "Crocodile Games" and he is called the "Beloved of Sobek" or something to that effect (dont remember as the blister he came in was utterly annihilated in my haste to start work on him)

This was a "scale-by-scale" process... needless to say there will not be anymore crocodiles in my warband.

Hope you like, /Cheers Kanvass

The "scale by scale" may have been laborious, but the end result is MOST IMPRESSIVE . I got an image of you ripping the clam shell open with your teeth...my son Phil's favorite method.

Look at that green!! Talk about meticulous, I like how the red contrasts with the green and I really like the base.

Great stuff!

Scale by scale... Man I admire your patience, but the end resul is JUST AMAZING!

Any chances of some pics of the rest of your SoBaH warband?

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

fantastic highlighting of the green! Really makes the detail stand out!
I do remember having some crocodile games stuff myself, however, it never really stuck, and I never got round to painting it, the boss however has painted some of his.

Indeed!  I've been trying to get hold of some Nekharu, and I've ended up having to order them direct from the US.

Lovely painting, Kanvass.  All that hard work was worth it.
