I really like the celtic civilians, especially the kid running with the dog. I think the background would have to be bigger in order to fill the picture, which I think is what was intended. I really like the second entry as well, the painting is not spectacular but very functional, but the whole scene ties everything together and gives you the feeling that you are looking at a market, and not just at painted models, very well done 8)

If the old man with the stick is trying to beat the kids, does he count as a combatant?   ;)

My vote is going to the Celtic Irish because it made me smile, although both are good in terms of theme and painting.
