This is one of the competitions where I know where I will vote but want to let the other fellow (Tom) know that I like their style too.  This was a close one and I would be very happy to see these minis on my table any day.

marianas_gamer, Thanks, I appreciate your saying that. I have been wanting to enter the LPL for a couple of years now and finally got up enough nerve to do so. I have such high respect for all of the entrants.

You deserve to be in it! It was a tough call to make, both entries are good for me!

Glad everybody loves Kolchak!  He sat around for quiite a while taunting me before I finally painted him - too nervous about getting the suit all wrong.  All five figures are from the same pack: Pulp Figures 'News Hounds' (PGJ-9).  I think not that many people know of it because its hidden away in the mobster series, which isn't exactly where you'd expect to find the likes of Carl and Tony.

Good grief! I'm on the Pulp Figures site a lot and didn't notice old Carl. I'm going to have to go take another look, and possibly think about sending in another order.
Thanks for the information.

The Snakeoil is good, but the news paper is just better. A different draw and the snake oil might have got my vote. That's just the way it goes I guess.

Yup, gotta say I love the Kolchak. Get out there and stalk the night!
