Ah, ok, I have the same (paid several € for it, though)
Here in the art suplly store the have the tools from foamwerks.
http://www.foamwerks.com/
I bought their rabbet cutter [misplaced my old one  :'(] the rest is a tad too expensive for me.

Sang
what board type are you using?
looks great so far

you mean the construction material?
it is the cheaper foamcore i found...6 euros for a 60x100 cm, enough for 3-4 buildings!

thanks zizi... now i have to make a mould for the windows... quite boring, but it gives another quality to the model!

maybe he's referring to the thickness ?
Here we've got 3mm and 5mm foamboard (some years ago even 10mm)

aaahhhn!

since it is a really cheap american building, i choose the 3mm one, even if i prefere the 5mm one, it is 2 times expensive!

the one i took is a poor quality one, with a bad foam inside. just good for the walls.
i have a small piece of 5mm with a good foam inside, and i'm planning to use that for same parts, like shown in the MAKE IT REAL article, from a FRENCH GENIUS (look on the "links" widget on my site! =) )

i'm also planning to use MDF for some concrete parts, I'll make a try in this days!

You're doing great progress!
And Google SketchUp is a great program, I've been fiddling around with it recently (but its too basic so my old education in Maya is seriously in the way) and will try to sketch up my own board with Houses :)

@Pil
You mean that people just chuck their old bicycles into the canales :o I thought it was my towns speciality (that and pitbulls that have died during illegal dog fights).

Not exactly, people usually chuck other people's bikes in the water. So when parking your bike near water make sure you attach it to something 8)

This was the Dutch picture I was talking about BTW, it didn't show up in my post:

Yeah, or they borrow someone else's bike and chuck it in the water when they're almost at their destiny...
