My pleasure, Parriah.

I had so much fun on Volturnus that I feel the need to share it!

Yours truly,

Sir Dryden

I think Elmore's Star Frontiers box art is the best thing he's ever done.

search for Starfrontiersman. Its got everything.

I discovered the work of the Fontiersman a while ago and I was blown away. The magazine is awesome. And the reformatted rules are a joy. Now I don't have to trash my original box set.

I'll search for some stand in pics from some manufacturers.

Yeah, I tried the .net one too and its bad for me too, IDK what happened tho.

Like ken said, try the SFMan site. It has a link to the development site. There's a Yazarians butt load of new and interesting stuff going on there and I know the guys there'd love some new blood!

My home's at the .org site tho.

But YES!!! The fanzine is fantastic! Especially the ones where I'm published! ;D ;D :D

I am not working on a project anything like this. I especially haven't been buying old Star Frontier miniatures for inspiration. And I have not been doing sketches of something called a Slathon because that would be too close to being a Sathar.

Hey Roebeast!
Again THANX! (You know what I mean)
But, Why don't you send your art ijnto the SFMan site, they might publish it in the next issue!
PS, check PM's!

I might do that after I've colored them. But the day job keeps me oh so busy... :?

Old Star Frontiers figs come up on the TMP Space Ship thread often, along with discussions of 'lead rot'.

I've still got several sealed boxes I'm a bit scared to open.  ;)

I pointed out on TMP the Sathar's sleek, rounded forms suggest late 50', early 60's sci fi, certainly apropos to War Rocket and the like, while I suggested the Fed capitals were positively Cavor-inspired, or so they looked. Nothing that would look out of place for Space 1889 ether ships.

Does the original art ever come up for sale? I'm a sucker for same, with a fair collection of original Traveller and other RPG drawings.

Elmore sold a BUNCH of his stuff a couple of years ago. That one that was the Knight Hawks box cover sold for a bundle!

Well, luck comes and goes.

Many of the items I have were fairly cheap; took a while for folks to notice Marc Miller selling art on eBay.  lol

I'd think Elmore's name alone would draw bidders, and he's pretty shrewd about self-promotion.
