Great work on these two entries.  The expressions on the robot faces are excellent! I keep looking for Wall-E...  :D

Like both paintjobs, but the faces on the robots swung the vote!

Two extremely good entries and that they are so different makes it even harder to choose. Well done to you both.

Nice to see a classic set painted to such standards. Robots got my vote!

Since Johnny 5 robots with faces are my soft spot. Otherwise I would have voted for those very well painted explorators. Sorry.

hehe, there was actually a Wall-E checking up on the progress of the paintjobs. Sadly he is in a compltly different scale, otherwise he might have been added as well. I figured that these  guys would be easy to paint, but the (relativly) rough sculpting didn't make them that easy. I did contemplete to add weathering, but since these guys (gals?) will be used as pawns in a boardgame I didn't think it that neccesary and went for a plain paintjob with a different main colour for each of them.

Now it's just time to play a bit more roborally  :D

Two very different - but really good - entries. This is a tough one. I love the bright colours on the robots, but I also love the muted, naturalistic tones on the explorers.
