It looks great.  I would call it the "Razorback" if EE hadn't already used it.  It looks like the feral pigs we have down south.
This is my boomstick!

Here is the promised picture of the molds (as already said, nothing too spectacular).

Body and undercarriage in pink silicon, tires and bumper in green:

I like Razorback. I also like Keiler (boar), but apparently, that's a German mine clearing vehicle. But then, which animal name isn't already taken?

That's pretty cool.  I've never really understood how one-part molds work for something with all those jutty angles.  Is the mold the consistency of rubber, and you just sort of peel the mold off the item, like pulling a hand out of rubber gloves?

A name better than "Truck."

That vehicle looks vaguely familiar to the 'tractor' that came with the old Airfix 25 Pdr plastic model in 20mm.  What was it called??? Was it a 'Bedford Tractor' ?

Regards,
MW

It would be a Quad tractor (or a 15 hundred CMP--Canadian Military Pattern).  Airfix built a little 1/72 scale with a limber and 25pdr, Tamiya built a better one inthe 1970s in 1/35 scale.  Thousands of these beauties were produced in 1940s, for just that purpose as well as mobile dentist offices, communications, cargo, and anything else they could throw on the back).  Both GMC and Ford had their own slight variations and I believe this one is close to a Ford type.  Just my 2 cents worth.

Ps.  if it is not already linked to the WW2 forum, I would do that immediately.  I'm sure you'd get more of us drooling over it!

Loos even better with some paint on!

As for the name - I wouldn't worry if it's been used already. Look at the current "Typhoon" jet fighter. The same name was used for a ground-attack plane in WWII and no-one seems to mind. Re-cycling is cool  :)

Exactly like that... and if you made it right no little rubber pieces stick in all those angles on the cast model ;)

Oooh.  The painted version is beautiful.  the green is a great color choice to show off the angles.  I really like this vehicle.

Thanks, people!

Jack, no WIP pictures, sorry. But a few of the halfway-painted model:

The cloth cover needs to be finished, and up to now, I have no idea at all what to do with the windows.

Neither price nor name have been settled yet, but I'm quite optimistic that it will be released next Monday 8)
