What adventure was this?
« on: March 31, 2011, 10:54:54 PM »
I think it was a Cthulhu Now adventure that I played 20 odd years ago. There was a presence in a cornfield, and it could reanimate dead bodies. I seem to remember loads of twitchy dead rabbits, birds and small game. I think the field blocked the way to an important building and we used a butchered pig to test our theory, it got into the pig and animated it...
I don't remember the exact details, but I'd like to read the adventure again - do you recognise this?

Sorry if my description is a bit vague, but it was a long time ago - hope you can help!

Sounds like one of the scenes in "Landscrapes" from 1990's At Your Door.

Yes, that's it - Tait's Farm  :o

I'm itching to play Cthulhu again now - does anyone know of any roleplaying groups in Cumbria?

That sounds utterly brilliant!  :o

Unfortunately I'm north of the border, or else I'd be up for playing that adventure!

What publication was it in, do you know, and would it work using 6th edition rules? I've never played CoC the RPG but hope springs eternal.
