That's a nice group you've put together there.

My favorite Zulu by far! One of the great found ranges. Great paintjob, tim!

Thanks!

No action shots of these just yet. I only have one unit of Zulus, one of British infantry and one of British mounted infantry... Once I get another unit or two of each finished I'll definitely start playing some skirmish actions and have some pictures to post!

There are other game reports posted on my blog (to give you an idea of what the table usually looks like):

Raid on Tantoone Station – Great War East Africa
Retreat from Boongobe - CLA East Africa
CLA – East Africa
(closest stuff I have to colonial adventures at the moment)

Definitely going to have to make some more terrain...

...and some Zulus with firearms.

I thought I'd get these done up so I could start with some small scale skirmishing. I have a feeling most of the smaller skirmishes involved Zulus harassing patrols and transport columns with pot shots from concealed locations and not so much charges with shield and spear!

I have another dozen with firearms to finish up - but most of them are wearing British tunics...

You could always do a Zulu raid on a small supply column or outpost, or a messenger with an escort of Mounted Infantry etc getting ambushed. How about groups of survivors from Isandhlwana trying to escape pursuing Zulus?

Plenty of skirmish possibilities there  :D
