Looks like a compact and entertaining game. How many miniatures did you use per side?

Pretty small, the scenarios in the book vary and this is one of the small ones., You also have randomly determined attachments/special rules.

Ours was:

1 French Squad of 10 men
1 French Patrol of 5 men

Rommel's scouting detachment of 4 men
1 German squad of 9 men

Great stuff Polynikes, are you working your way through the Verdun book? I had planned on doing that but sold my sole to the devil (well the minis) for more hot lead.

Now can you dye the smoke yellow for mustard gas? :D

I suppose I could wee in the machine's fuel reservoir! That might make the smoke yellow.  :D

Yes, working my way through the book. Need to get going and paint more figures, as we need a load more for the next one.

Lol...take three eggs and separate the yolks bobs your uncle :D

I think it is one of the best books and for once Renegade have all the figures you need without having to mix and match

Poly-Great report as always!  I have been following the campaign closely as I was thinking of buying this book-So far I have more than enough Germans (No French yet though but they look fun to paint)

How many figures do you need for the next scenario?

The first one is very impressive! It looks like there's a whole village in flames in the background!

Thanks, fellas. There is a smoke detector in the next room, but the fog didn't wake it up.

Coggon, it depends on what variable attachments you roll (but of course you could just choose, if both players consent). For ours it will be something like this:

About 40 Germans attacking a village held by about 30 Frenchmen. So at least twice as big as anything so far, a bit bigger in fact.

ESLO. I am unenthusiastic about terrain-making, so import the finest ready-made stuff from those efficient Germans:

Up to now I have been using ESLO, but I am currently in early-stage negociations with Grimm. If my money is going to be heading to Germany, it may as well go to my Lead Adventurer pals.
