Saw these at the open day. Not the greatest of sculpts (arggh! can't believe I typed that) but different and useful for VSF/Gothic etc.

I believe a certain someone has painted them up already ;)

Alas only penny-farthing bikes policemen.
The mounted ones at least cover some gaps

Phil, my police officers are all Artizan 1930ish, nice sculpts, but I have noticed a few folk asking for the Victorian ones and the mounted ones fill a gap in the market.............

I can certainly see them being popular. The paint jobs on the Foundry site do them no favors, though...  :(

The legends of Albion pack in the reorganized Victorian section is all the old limited edition figs from 10 years ago!  They had said they would be strictly limited at the time, obviously not.  I'm glad I can order some of these figs without getting the big sets or on e-bay at last.

They don't look too bad to me, especially compared to the recent naval brigade figures release :(

It would be fun to finally run the 'Sydney Street Siege' that was described in the battles section on the Major General's site.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

I got the Police officers on Penny Farthings and the Mounted Police at the recent open day. I've painted up the bycycle one, they're ok. The Mounted Police look nicer I have to say, but then, what's not to like about 'Victorian' oddments in Pulp games?

I like these, the sergeants & inspectors and caped constables are diferent from the standard police figures you usually see.

However, against the tide, I dislike the the penny-farthing policemen!

How does the Foundry penny-farthing compare in size with the penny-farthings done by Eureka?

Did anyone ever measure these up for you? the wheel height is 22mm and the handlebars 30mm, not sure how that fits in with Eureka.
I have some photos of the minis on my blog

hope this helps

I wonder where the inspiration for the head gear came from? It certainly wasn't a British police man's helmet.  :?
