Modern Zombie Hunters

So I picked up a pack called Doc Friday's Yardies because I needed a single miniature from it. So I ended up with  4 extra. Since my friend wanted to play a modern zombies game,  I figured I'd paint them up sort of militia looking, like a group of survivors after a zombie apocalypse. Here they are:













Thoughts? Comments?

This is the first time I've painted any considerable amount of black, so I'm curious what you guys think of the highlight on it. I tried the first one with a very gradual highlight on the black, and the third with a very sharp one. Any thoughts on which is better, or any comments on it?

Very Nice work. I like the highlights on the girl and geezer with the M16 firing.

What colours are you using?

Nice looking figures.  I find it hard to tell which is the figure with lighter highlights. Perhaps its the photo as its a bit dark?

The colours are all GW. The black skin is dark flesh highlighted to dwarf flesh, the white skin is dwarf flesh highlighted to elf flesh, the black is highlighted to codex grey, and the green is dark angels green highlighted to goblin green.

I think I like the highlights on the girl better, btw.
