I thought this was round 7 not five again :D
That is a lovely African scene.
Where is the boat from?

Nice group Blackwolf.
The lady with the pistol is very nice.
I think there is a lot of detail been lost in the photo though.
What make are the figures?

Those are all Malifaux figures from Wyrd Miniatures (the lady with the pistol is a Ronin from the Outcast faction):

Very nice brushwork and mood Blackwolf, well done. I don't know anything about Malifaux but your painting has gotten me interested.

The 'Lady Janice' is a scratchbuild (pretty much based off the African Queen but with a canopy that affords the ladies some respite from the sun). Figures are all Foundry except for one Reverisco guy manning the tiller.

I love the lady with the revolver in the second pics. I love these white little flowers on her jacket and pants. She's so retro I could bow down and pray to her...

Blackwolf, you sure have a hand and an eye for some really haunting and bizarre settings. Groooovy.  :D

Both very cool entries - would have been great to see some shots of the Lady Janice's crew and passengers off their boat, though, and there would have been space below the shot we got to fit everything into 800x800.

I believe Blackwolf wrote at one point that he was taking his photos with a mobile phone...  :o

The river was fantastic!
But, I had to vote for the other one because I couldn't see the figs very well, like some others have said, maybe some individual close ups?

I really like the setup in the first entry, great jungle scenery, a lovely idyllic scene with the boat on the river but with hidden dangers on the shore. I didn't really mind not seeing the models clearly as I know the painting is solid but I can imagine that it makes it hard to vote.

I really like the dark and brooding atmosphere in the second entry, the background and the foreground fit seamlessly together and that dangerous looking sky really adds a sense  of haste to this entry, great work!

Very nice it is too, Where are the palm trees from?
