Great work on the cavalry Wirelizard! I really like the diorama of the second entry as well, especially combined with the title  :D
Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly
Before the storm begins

Great work on the cavalry Wirelizard!

Thanks! They're the first 28mm cav I've ever done, and a new era as well, never having dabbled in the ECW/TYW era at all. First straight-up historicals I've done, in a way, the interwar units being an outgrowth of my pulp interests rather than a new historical era!

They're Warlord plastic cav, technically Parliamentarian horse although I gather the difference in the packages is slight! I especially like how the horses came up; there's a GW article I have to cite as inspiration on the whole horse-painting front, especially with regard to the various markings on the legs and faces. Makes them much more interesting.

The diorama effect of the other entry is great, I especially like the guard leaning in to murmur to his Emir!
