Hi Folks,

It's been too long since I posted anything so here are a few pics of the markers we used for our Battle of Verneuil demo game at Salute, which incidentally won best demo game!

The vignettes are used for marking units that are disordered in Impetus and they are a real boon to the game. Bits of card scattered all over the table just don't cut it really.

Hope you like them  :).

Hope that you enjoy the pics,

Darrell.

Yep, I've got one or two more tucked away..... I just cannot for the life of me find a quick solution for the tabletop (no OG!!) in terms of a closely executed knigget  :P.

Simply wonderful.  Very well done indeed.

Now I feel compelled to make similar ones for my Vikings and Saxons!  :D

Thanks for the kind comments gents.  8)
@James- we used Impetus. We sort of changed a few things to allow for larger units.

Worked well in the end.

Excellent Darrell - great work on the patina on the helmets and shading on the surcoats in particular.  :)

Thanks mate  8).

Truth be told there will be many more of these appearing before Partizan this September as we were rather short of them at Salute. Still, I really enjoy painting this kind of stuff (and no I don't mean dead people per se  lol).

It's good that there are figures out there of this type as they certainly lend a more dramatic air to proceedings  :)

The surcoats certainly look the biz  8)

cheers

Great stuff, Darrell.

Are you doing the Salute game at Sept Partizan? It certainly deserves another outing and will give even more of a wow factor than in the souless surroundings of Excel.

Shall have to badger Mr. Perry to make some casualties for the WotR and/or chop up some more plastic.
