Fenris - Cthluedo furniture
« on: May 07, 2011, 09:46:39 AM »
Finally got chance to dismantle the Cthluedo Study (from the Frothers Cthluedo game at Salute 2011) and take moulds from all the furniture, now added to the shop. Threw a couple of older bits that have been awaiting moulds into rubber, too....

Sweet.  Those bookcases and tents are particularily well done.  I can see several uses for any and all of these in many future projects.  Great work.

Ack! Just what I needed for LPL round 10...! Unfortunately, even with Fenris' excellent shipping, they'll never get here in time... :'(

So, do I go ahead and just order, or wait patiently until the Apex Investigators are released??

Yes, now that Salute is over, are the investigators any closer to being released in metal Ian?

What kind of browns should be used to give that nice dirty stone effect on the 'runestones'?

I always get my stonework too grey...

Started with a chocolate brown undercoat (sprayed on).

Drybrushed and overbrushed with assorted citadel colours to taste.

Washed patchily with Gryphonne Sepia & Devlan Mud.

Job done :)

OK, I kind of suspected the brown undercoat, but I hadn't thought of using washes, too. Well...
