Added the pre-order offer on with the free mini-icon that should have been on there to start with!! DOH!

I can only blame it on my shoggoth addled brain  :loopy:

So - 3 new releases with varying options to buy and all with the free mini-icon!

The orders that have already been placed are correct on the order system and will include
the free items, I just forgot to add the text and the correct image to the website....... double DOH!

To be honest I don't seem to be getting any feedback to these new releases at all, comments,
PMs..... zip, nil, nadda................ have I missed something? Are these too big? Not enough tentacles?

I've got way over 500 views on Frothers forum and no comments, it's not like them to be shy  ;)

All the weirder in a way as all the feedback to cast quality etc from the Living Icon is nothing but
positive. Just feel like I've done something wrong with this release but have no idea what........

I'm going to try some of the plaques painted and made into wall hangers and see how that goes  :)

You have an order from me unless it has been lost in the void.

Seems strange that you don't get much feedback, specially from Frothers. I think they look great and I will definitely grab some of them when I have the funds for an order.

The Sarcophagus is the best one this far in my opinion and while the Sigil Seal of the Illuminati reminds me a bit of a pizza I really like the looks of it.  lol

Yep, have the order - yours and a few others - just the general lack of feedback on the posts was
what I should have written.......... it's been very odd!

I don't think the paintjob on the Illuminati Sigil is doing it any favours....... may have to repaint
or remarket it as a Shoggoth Pepperami..........   ;)

The quality is great but for my taste they are too big. Also the illuminati and necronomicon seals are quite thick. Ofc thats not really an issue..
The Sarcophagus is so big that you need a big gamingboard to use it and then it's mostly suitable as a large center piece. Also the shape is little "strange". If it would be a triangle it would be more easier to embed into a  wall etc.

but all and all you do a great job! Thats why I ordered the living icon in the first place.

I did with 3 posts but as it hit 540+ views and no feedback was appearing the self-doubt that
I had somehow gone haywire with the sculpt set in..... Frothers comment on everything, too big/small/expensive/shite...
so to get nothing was a huge worry.

I'd repost but it will end up in Frothtown for the "flog your tat" treatment   :(

I've had some orders but as an artist 1st and 2nd and a business 3rd I'm more concerned with
opinions and feedback on the sculpts than anything else.

Maybe that they are lovely pieces but people only want or need a limited amount of them, are you planning on diversifying or are you sticking with scenery style stuff for the whole range?

And! It takes some time to spread the word about the shop and the products. Also you might want to open up an ebay store?

My sculpting skills are struggling with non-scenery stuff, I'd love to produce a large monster
for example but every time I start I scrap it so far...... I will get there eventually!

I was aiming for a whole temple set eventually but am starting to wonder, as you say people might
only need a limited amount of scenery................ will have to push myself harder on the sculpting!!

I totally understand that, I think I should have been much clearer in my original post - it's the lack of feedback on
the sculpting itself that has concerned me, especially on Frothers as they always have something to say about everything!!

As a fledgling sculptor I need the feedback to know I'm doing the right or wrong thing, do I need more detail, make it smaller, make it larger, more tentacles etc etc etc - it's the lack of feedback in that department that set me worrying  :o

I think I need to push myself with creatures for sure, and as you say get onto Ebay as well.......... and probably stop worrying that people aren't commenting on the sculpting but are buying the products anyway  :)

Dont beat yourself up mate!
Nothing wrong with the sculpts at all but may have a limited market?
Have you thought about getting someone else to do some minis for you then if your putty pushing skills arent up to it by your own standards?
Or how about buddying up with 4A for example to flog each others stuff for example?
