Just starting to contemplate some similar Middle European/Old English style buildings for ECW/TYW and pulp, and this is very inspirational!

The half-timbering is fiddly, but of course it doesn't have to be perfect, the real stuff is irregular as well.

Great work, both build and wip painting! :) The only thing I would have left out is that line of stones on the bottom of the first story walls to resemble to picture a bit more. But that is a tiny suggestion and I'd be more than happy to have such a beautiful piece of terrain on my table. The winding stairs look simply amazing both in your execution and the original. :) Sometimes reality is even cuter than fantasy. :D
