JTFM Enterprises and When The Navy Walked figure preview
« on: 02 June 2011, 12:17:02 PM »
Hi all,

Here are some pics of the first batch of 18mm figures to accompany the "When the Navy Walked" ruleset.

The figures were sculpted by Mike Broadbent and should fit very well with more than just WTNW.  :)

Cheers,

Jeff @ JTFM Enterprises

Nice detailing.   :-*

That is what I like about 18mm, that little bit more makes a huge difference.

Will there be command figures soon?

Of course, there is absolutely no way I could break away from my present 28mm VSF projects and buy these...  ::)

Though I must admit that I have on several occasions looked at other 18mm collections only to find they didn't have what I wanted for my peculiar VSF interests.

These look good. Getting way ahead of myself here but will there be a UK stockist?
Don't!

Yes there will be once I have things set up.

I'll be commissioning appropriate command figures and the range will expand to include Russians, Turks, Chinese, and Spaniards,

Yes, 18mm is a very tempting scale for me too.

The masters for the figures are in hand and off to the spincasters.  :)

Here's a quick peek at some painted samples. Outstanding brush work by Helen Bachaus.  :-*  Pics of the French, Germans, and Brits hopefully end of next week.

Based on my spincasters schedule I hope the figures will be ready for sale by end of August.

Plenty of uses for these 18 mm's no doubt.

Cheers,

Jeff

Amazing what a couple mm's difference can make. Wish folks had been doing 18mm 10 or 15 years ago.

Very nice, indeed.

Here are painted examples of the initial sets of figures. Thanks to Helen Bachaus for the great brush work !  :)

The first 8 sets of figures are off to the spin casters and should be ready for sale by the end of August. Command figures are in the works.  :)

More war machines are rolling out of the all the beligerants factories  :o

I'm also sure that any of these could find their way into any colonial game as well. ;) :)

Cheers,

Jeff

Thank you Jeff and kind folk for your kind words.

Thet certainly were a joy to paint for this scale I'm not use too.

Cheers,

Helen
Best wishes,
