T&T Colonial Game
« on: June 03, 2011, 01:57:12 PM »
Hi All
Just setup ready for my first T&T Colonial game tonight. 2 units of Naval Brigade + gatling under attack in Zariba, while 1 unit of Cavalry and 2 units of egyptians race from the city to help.
Will post more pics tomorrow.
Cheers. Steve.

Hi all

Ok here are some more pictures from the game. Unfortunately the Brits got mullered badly. Enjoyable game although the Gatling didnt seem very effective in the rules. Oh and Stu, they are all 28mms. Wish I had gone down the plastics route but have had this collection for many years and add to it every now and again.
Cheers
Steve

Thanks for posting the pictures.
The Gatling Gun is very effective against Raw Units because Raw Units are automatically pinned if hit.

Have to agree with Driscoles, in our games the early-style MGs haven't been very effective at actually killing, but they have driven enemy troops right off the table with their morale effect.

Thanks for the pics.  :)

Thanks for that. Must have missed/forgotten that bit in rules, probably would have made a big difference. Ahh well next time. ;)
