Ohhh! That one turned out very nicely. I got the same figure at Vapnartak this year with an eye on using it for my ABC Warriors project, but my approach with a metallized blue did not really turn out as I intended. I think I shall shamelessly steal your concept of a slightly oily metal look and repaint him. Looks great.

Thats lovely! Maybe add a faded and chipped star on his chest? You could paint over a standard US star decal for that perhaps?
