Just caught up with this thread.......and your work is amazing!
Your attention to detail astounds me. I have seen 90mm scale figures with less.
I mean- Spending all that time painting camo on your sniper and then covering most of it with his ghillie suit o_o o_o
Bonkers!!!
I shall be watching the rest of this process with a large glass of something close to hand!
(Medicinal purposes, of course).
Good luck with the GD, and if these dont place (at least), then I just HAVE to see what does!
Amazing work.

Thanks mate.  The sniper thing was more a test run on an actual model just to see if it worked, if it had't there was easy scope to cover up without affecting the model :)

This is all simply wondrous!

Thanks

getting better and better....

Thanks mate.  In time, I want to finish all the troops first

Fantastic paint!

Brian

thanks mate

I am personally not at all happy with his body armour the chipping looks crap so I am pondering either repainting the entire body armour or covering it up with camo....I am leaning towards the latter to be honest.

The scabbard does look a little flat. Maybe kill markings? Possible different ones for different xenos scum he has killed? Or their is an imperial guard serial number you could put on the side?

The knife scabbard; Maybe some kind of reptile skin?

I opted for a native american kind of deal.

Tis been a whole week, sir?

I have nearly finished the medic, have had a busy week and my weekends have been taken up with trips away from my paint filled hellhole.

you make Catachans look cool - a near impossible task!

Thanks.

For those that don't know, Warhammer World Museum have asked me to put on a guest display in June - August 2012 and I reckon these will have to make an appearance, would be rude not too....the original idea was to sell them off with the display base and a carry case after golden demon, so that will have to wait for 10 months or shelve the idea totally.
