Try and find a decent toyshop that stocks Papo or Schleich figures.

Both have plastic dragons, prepainted designed for 75mm knights, so they are huge against 15mm, but they look spectacular.

If you do an internet search for them you should get pictures.

I found some. They are really big! But as you said they are good looking and well detailed. Didn't yet buy any since I went to the toy store with my wife to look for an b-day present for her cousin... I then sneaked to the shelves with the knights and the dragons but she came after me and I said " would these be suitable for your 3 year old cousin khrm... nice looking eh" and moved on after she gave me a stare that said (that man has finally lost it).

BUT I will return someday...alone..

Reaper has some smaller 25mm dragons that come in blisterpak that would work if you want dragon in the 3-6 inch tall range.  The dragon I linked below is about 5-6 inches (around 100mm) to the top of the wings.

Not bad at all, thanks for tipping it out. I'm looking for smaller and larger ones but not HUGE ones or too expensive (>30£)
