Found this (google-ed : danzas container)

http://www.arcane-modelisme.com/conteneurs-4-po-ou-danzas/article/50769

That's 4€ /piece. Lot in stock. But overall finish is "meh".

Way too expensive, ordered the above mentioned ones for 3 EUR each.

I think I should give elladan a heads-up. He's a wiz with stuff like that. Maybe he'll feel inclined to sculpt some.

From all the ones shown in this thread, I'd still prefer the AT-43 ones quality wise, but availability and the resulting price would definitely be a problem.

Probably not an option for you Professor, due to the price, but for completion's sake... Armorcast make a rather large container for 16$ (Linky pushy).

I thought Snapdragon went out of business a couple of months ago? Please correct me if I am wrong, though.

You are right Chris, I must be living in the past, I still think its the 1980's ;)

I have some of the old Snapdagon ones which is why I mentioned them, very nice stuff he used to produce, shame he's shut it down :(

It is I always passed them by as the buildings had a fantasy look to them and for me at the time not what I wanted but their future stuff was ideal and I recently picked up a buildng adobe type thing which is ideal for Quar and would have loved to have got my hands on more :(

Minimi make similar resin containers but I think they were around the £5 mark so no good if you want to create a huge wall of them. I think card stock might be the way to go?

Couldn’t imagine it wouldn’t be worth the effort. Proper cargo containers in the 28 mm should be around 10 cm long and 5 cm wide. A lot of silicone and work and that means a higher price. And I don’t think that many would be willing to pay more than 3-4 EUR for one.

Have you discounted paper models? Worldworks sells some in their industrial set as well as kitbash area. There are also freebies out there, possibly toposolitario.com iirc.

the point is that a container is a relatively big piece of stuff... considered all, i had thought about sculpting and casting my own, but the resin cost and the number of pieces (in the simple way, at least 6 of course) make them cost MINIMUM 10 Euros each. Quite a lot for a junkyard.

Might be worth trying some who produce resin to see if they give discount for bulk or or if they can do ready made stacks perhaps.

I suppose its the weight then becomes an issue
