I don't know if it helps, but I've got a cheap £1 noticeboard that I stick all my ideas on to. It keeps me going! It's not a white board list, but it does keep reminding me where I'm supposed to be going with something and what's next. It also let's me add ideas to something even before I've started!

The lists are a good idea - I find large doses of caffeine help too  o_o

Got a bit done this year and I'm trying to devote a month at a time to various long term projects I've got on the go.

Like you I'm hoping a big terrain project (build Rigg's Shrine out of Hirst Arts blocks!) will get me going.

The latest 4A gobbo's are helping, as is my Norse warband for the Magnificent Sven.

Ah s!%t - I was supposed to do one project a month...  ::)

Looking forward to some more Mordheim madness  8)

Thanks...I needed that.

Only have to ask, Amigo.
Always glad to help!

That is another great idea, Andy.
My solution was someewhere between your board and Ninja's whiteboard.
I have a contents page listing each option and a page in the book dedicated to each option (building, board section, warband etc) where all the mad scribblings are entered neatly to save for a later time.
This way I do not have to keep all my crazy ideas roaming around in my head.
Just write it down and forget it until you need it.
I guess it works the same way as both of your solutions.

I tried that approach last year, mate, but it did not work for me.
I got sucked into Strange Aeons and found that I enjoyed painting such a variety of stuff that I did not want to stop.
What was supposed to be a short three-month distraction has lasted nearly a year!

Thanks for all the encouragement, chaps.
It certainly worked.

I made a start on a few things today, two graveyards to sell on and a Temple of Morr that will double as a crypt for Strange Aeons.

I will try and take a couple of pics tomorrow to prove that I am not still idle.
 :D

Oh, and I have a week or so off from tomorrow, so there should be a fair bit of progress achieved pretty soon....

Thanks, mate.
(You would!)
 ;)

Well, better late than never, here are the pics that were promised (...several days ago  ::))

The Temple of Morr

Early days yet, but I should get it finished this week.
It will also double up nicely as a Crypt in Strange Aeons.

I have also been making a couple of Graveyards at the same time.
Here is the progress on those so far...

Ooh. They ate looking good. It's nice to see them not grey.
The crypt doesn't look too warhammery either.

I particularly like the small self contained graveyards, I was thinking of dooing a big one, or have the headstones in strips like I've seen elsewhere on this forum but I think these are cracking. Where are the walls from?

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Ah yes, the smell of gently rotting corpses, the delicate patter of night soil 'pon the broken cobbles and the scent of freshly turned grave soil. These are the multitude of sensory delights that make Krappefort such a joy to visit :D

EXCELLENT use of G.W's building parts. The place has a suitably somber look to it without being drab....GREAT color choices & brushwork. VERY WELL DONE!

Some greenery might be nice...especially with all those soiL enriching nutrients laying about.

Nice! Did you use Hirstarts moulds to make those? Lovely stuff! Keep it up!

The walls are made from blue foam, brickwork drawn in.

It has only just started, DeafNala, so dont worry, there will be plenty more colour going into it.

The Temple is purely GW parts, while the Graveyards are all carved out of insulation foam, apart from a couple of the graves, but yes, there are a couple of small details from Hirst Arts.
Well spotted!.
