Just some pics of one of my Salute projects (yeah i know, that was in April), Gladiatorial combat! Basic gaming standard paint on these as i didn't want to spend ages on them and once i finally got going they were pretty quick. Crusader miniatures, not too bad, a bit chunky in places and some of the shields were badly miscast but i rolled with it anyway. One group shot and a couple of action shots. As always comments and criticism welcome

They look super, much better than gaming standard! The African flesh tone is particularly good.

Rise from the dead Gladiator thread!

Been painting Gladiators to join the others I painted so long ago. They are ready to use in Jugula (from Gripping Beast). Had one game and it's a cool game, simple enough to learn but with a level of tactics that make what cards you play really important. Single pics of the newly painted and a group shot of all that are ready.
