Fallout - Semi-Tractor Trailer
« on: July 07, 2011, 04:32:10 PM »
Here is another addition to my post apocalyptic garage, a semi-tractor trailer.  It started life as a Hot Wheels Super Transporter and was painted to fit in with both my Fallout miniatures as well as my AT-43 Kharman.  Pictures below, as well as on my blog.  Enjoy.

What I was aiming for...

What I ended up with... : )

Plus a picture of the truck with some of my AT-43 minis for reference...

Nice, but the blue is too light compared to the rest of your forces, could do with a little more panel damage too. Good use of hotwheels transporter though.

Cheers

Thanks for the comment.  I agree the blue isn't a perfect match, but it is close enough for me to fit in with both forces.  I thought about damaging the tuck but decided against it so I could use it with other sci-fi minis games.

What a great vehicle. I really love it. I am just now browsing evil bay to find one here in Germany. Seems like I am out of luck. :'(

Anyways, nice paint job uand very cool idea.

:)

Battle damage might be over the top but some scratches and some missing paint would be perfectly ok I think.

It looks damn good, but as someone said the blue looks a bit too clean. I would use the same weathering you did on the front of the vehicle on the edges and ridges of all blue areas. But still damn good job!
