Heroquest - Keeping a Promise to Bezzo

Bezzo was kind enough to send me some Heroquest figures I needed on the proviso that once I'd painted my HQ collection I posted pics on LAF. So here they are:

Orcs & Goblins

Skellies, Mummies & Zombies

Morcar and the Gargoyle (sorry about the pics, camera seems to have trouble focusing on single figures  )





Heroic Henchmen





I don't have enough HQ henchmen and they go for silly money on Ebay, so I've used some Battle Masters Empire troops as well





Finally, Bezzo had sent me a non-HQ plastic Mummy, no idea what game he comes from



I kept the paint schemes relatively quick and simple, basing them on old painting guides from WD and GW's online guides. I took more time over Morcar, and based the scheme on the cover of the HQ Adventure Design Kit.

Okay... it might just be because of the early hours or because the coffee has not yet has an effect but I can hear the Chaos Lord saying "Hey pal! Give me a hug!" and the Mummy bursting into a song

Will have to attempt to take a better pic. I've gone for a bronze statue look with verdigris in the recesses.
