I used a Victrix plastic base for this one (20X40mm)

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Ajá, fits really good, it's a good size sure, but I'll try to avoid order bases just for one miniature... perhaps cutting some hard plastic... ummh

Really nice, great to see the different colour scheme used  ;)

How about 40mm base, position the figure as far back as it will go and fit comfortably, so the majority of "free space" is in front of the figure.  Then you just need some suitable "items" to decorate the base with.  Small dog, carpet, pots and pans.  Anything really that fits the rest of the basing.

Great hookah!

I based mine on a quarter.  Probably not much use to you in Spain, sorry.   ;)

thanks for all your ideas, the big coin is an option... perhaps a 50cent euro... but the option with a 40mm base and some more elements sounds a challenge!!

I thought in a draughts table, it's a great element and turns the turk onto an oracle -joking-

any examples of draughts tables in 28mm???? ;D

They should be standing on a floor of beautiful Iznik tiles, which you could hand paint  :D

Yep - thats the solution right there!  :D
Probabaly look best if you do thirty of them too.

On a serious note, I like the rug idea ... either that or a rafia mat texture.

How about a 1:48 scale dolls-house table?
You should be able to get plenty of different objects on it, depending on what effect you are after.
All mounted on a 40mm base?

Try this link;
http://www.mollys-house.co.uk/1%2B48th+Furniture+PWNETXdBVE02a25jdmRXWjBGMlk

It is UK-based, but it cant cost that much to ship to Spain.
I have used loads of the really cheap stuff in my Mordheim-style ruins;

Have a look and see what you think.
At these prices, how can you complain?!?
