Introducing Captain Jack 'Red' Rose......

We've just started playing Legends of the High Seas. Good game and we're only a couple of missions in. Anyway this is my crew for the campaign.

 

Jack Rose. Captain. Nicknamed 'Red' for the brightly coloured clothes he wears. Ex-Royal navy. Dishonourably discharged for sleeping with the Admirals daughter in the admirals mansion. The Admiral swore 'he would never command a ship again!' so 'Red' decided it was time to branch out and make his name and his fortune. Being no money in being good ,'Red' used what little money he had left from his navy days , hired a cheap crew for 200 Gold and set sail to become a gentlemanly pirate of the High Seas taking his Mum with him to be Quartermaster!

Anyway thats all I've painted so far. I managed to win the first mission and beat the Royal navy to finding treasure in 'X' marks the spot, so as well as having my original crew of 6 rogues to paint, Ive now got to add 3 cuttroats with muskets and a blunderbuss, and a cook. This is as well as finishing 'The Lady Rose', Jacks ship.

I found some maps on the net which I thought might look funky for the game. I also thought it might be fun to start making a Captains Log as well. I can't remember everything we did a few weeks ago, when we played our games, so i'll make more detailed in the future.







'Red's new recruits. 3 Cuttroats(1 blunderbuss and 2 muskets). Left to right...Omar Bin Ali, Ben Adel and Abu Adel. The last 2 are brothers. Both good shots with muskets.
