Right, that one was a piece of piss then.

Scab Red base, highlight with Blood Red, Devlan Mud wash, retouch the highlights, then (I think) a thin wash of Baal Red. Pick out the brassy bits.

I am the king of slap, the duke of dash...  ;)

A good flat matt finish will help too.
