Napoleonic Russians - Foundry 28mm
« on: August 13, 2011, 10:10:55 PM »
I've recently completed the first half of the 7th Infantry Division for 1812, so long way to go yet, but at least I have some troops to play with now:

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

The 'Army Set' was a gift from my wife, and I have painted them all myself, so not so bad a 'price', I think.  ;)

These figures are useable with any 1:20 scale rules systems, so these are suitably based for In the Grand Manner, General de Brigade, Black Powder, and Republic to Empire.

OK - I've hear of a system called 'Big Battalions', too - what ratio does that use, anyone?

I used to use 1:40 with my own rules for use with my 1/72 plastics - until I switched to a homegrown adaption of Warmaster with only 8 models per stand/battalion.
