The BEF stuff should support their Bolt Action range very well. I hope the continue to add to it, like they did with BAM, as I could always use more early war stuff for VBCW, and the BAM is just too late.

I wonder if Warlord now must be the biggest figure manifactures (apart from GW)?

Hopefully they don't follow the footsteps of GW.

Hopefully they don't follow the footsteps of GW.

Always a risk, when an operation reaches a certain size. As their whole concept is built on being different than GW, we can hope for the best.

Ouch, some clarifications from Warlords side would be great here, especially since they are announcing on their homepage allready, and in news letters. I hope, and belive, that Warlords as a company will come through here, and straight things out with the juridical issues over ownership.
If not for Jeffs sake, then for them self, as a company with a growing interest from the community.

Considering I bought the master and the rights to that one and a bunch of others in 2009 I'd like to hear from someone on the subject.....

If it's the Matilda you are thinking of, it's a different model to the "old" chieftain one.:)

Knowing nothing about the situation, I can only speculate that whatever has happened here would be between Jeff and BEF ? Could WG have been left in the dark about some old contract or agreement, having followed them for a few years they don't come across as a roguish company with such a mentality.

Hopefully this will all be settled with some agreement between everyone involved as I really favor the idea of WG including BEF stuff in their catalogue.

Things are somewhat settled, though as our 2 companies, JTFM/Die Waffenkammer and Warlord will be using the same masters to build the same vehicles, choices will be based on personal preferences. Some more duediligence on Warlord's part and a courtesy message to me may have stopped all this before it went public. I believe that BEF was 100% forthcoming with Warlord regarding the deal made between then Chieftain Models and JTFM in 2009

I reacted as I did because I was first directed to a public forum post which left me stratching my head as to what was going on.

So I apologize for airing this in public, but it appears to have been the only way to receive a clarification as to what was transpiring.  Those of you who know me, know I'm a pretty laid back guy that doesn't get his feathers ruffled often.  :o

Now let's all get back to building more great models for all of you!  :)

See you in the trenches,

Cheers,

Jeff @ JTFM
