Have the set, most of them primed... none painted, yet...

They may be a tiny bit on the large side, being 1:48 - but with 'heroic' 28s (especially those on slottas) they are perfect, and also fits 'normal 28's well.

I need to get mine out and painted for that little Alien Incursion project....

Where did you get it? I've been trying to get the 1/48 kit for ages!

A fairly underrated set, but so great. Shame there isn't a bit more in the box. My only real gripe is the attachment of the horns to the moo cows, but still passable.

Couldn't tell - I usually get plastic kits from modelhobbies.co.uk, or hannants.co.uk (and on rare occations from local hobby/train shops) - and the Pegasus animals (and a lot of palm trees) I got from Conquest a few years ago...

Well ok, maybe not. But you do get a mighty nice fox, 4 chickens, 3 chicks, and a rooster. Perfect for skirmish games and loot markers. [/i]

 

BUT, together with this Reaper's "girl feeding the chickens" miniature, it gave me an idea for a swashbucking adventure (after all, all heroes have been kids some day, right?!)
