well, that is THE question.

Well, they've only been around since the 1870s, and only started calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses in the 1930s, so it would be rather odd to find them in an 18th Century pirate range!

Unfortunately, I also have lots I still haven't painted  

But these look pretty irresistible.

Except for the bases. I hate and detest slotta bases. They raise the model up an unecessary few mm, and they are horribly lightweight.

Wonder why Mark's gone for slottas on this range... I think I'm right in saying most of the Crusader figures don't have them...

Something to do with the rising price of metal?

I agree about the plastic plinths, but oddly enough I really like slottabase figures, but for a different reason. It makes it much easier to snip the tab from the  figure and pin it to a Litko ply base for a nice flush finish on a thin base.
