BLAM game - Aquanauts

I though I would follow Thunderchickens idea and open a thread just for our BLAM game. To help us keep on the straight and narrow and focus on getting our game ready.
I had been posting stuff on the sticky at the top of the VSF board but I think it gets missed a lot up there.

So here is some progress in this thread.
We have a board. Still some bits to tidy up.

Pictures of the base, James.





Under coated white
Spray painted desert yellow base coat.
Dusted on top with a dark grey spray paint.
Brown ink used to give a bit of shade.
Dry brushed with light grey and then some rotting flesh.
I have been using a beige house paint to stick down the sand around the base but not painting the actual sand.
Some strange colours but they seem to work

Finished sub.
I am calling it a Barracuda. (It is supposed to look like one, believe it or not )
One man attack sub with a magnetic mine attached to the nose.
As this is alot smaller than the other subs, my brother is making, I was thinking about making 2 or 3 for a shoal. Will see how I get on.
These belong to the Chinese forces of Fu Man Chu. Not quite suicide subs but once the mines are in place/used up, the subs then ram their opponents and because of the design the subs they are not very good at going backwards So are very likely to go down with them.
