First painted LAM fig.
« on: September 17, 2011, 03:47:17 PM »
Finaly managed to paint something up. Only problem is, by taking these close-ups I noticed I forgot to paint the watchband and I need to retouch a strap of the backpack... ::)

and for those that want to nitpick about the rose paint on the warning sign, I got the idea here :
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

i did some warning signs from some laser cuts - custom ordered by sarissa.

Something really easy to make, 10 minutes on cad then waiting for the signs. After that, the master is already done, so i didn't have nothing to do! ^^

I think that something like that should be a really great addiction to your range... maybe together with printed decal transfert!

think about it alex: it should be something great! ;)

Thanks guys.

I got the idea for the sign from a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. wallpaper where it's attached on some barb wire.
A little google-fu guided me to forementioned pic of the real deal.

I tend to spend extra time on my bases as I find they draw away the attention of my mediocre PJ  :)

@Sangennaru : those lasercut signs, just the shapes or were they engraved with markings/text too ? expensive ?

Nice job.  I just bought that pack just for that figure.

Heh, strange how we can look past such good detail.  ::)
I corrected that mistake yesterday (as well as the rucksack straps)  :D

Oh, very nice!  I really like the sign, too.  But why is there a radioactive material warning sign out in the middle of nowhere?  (Although I suppose it's better than the middle of town!)

Radiation pocket boundaries. One has to draw a line somewhere, wouldn't you say ?
