Greetings from Germany
« on: September 18, 2011, 11:32:25 AM »
Hi all,

I've been lurking for quite a time but finally registered. Great source of inspiration and even greater threat of distraction.
Originally a LotR player I searched for a historical setting to my likings but most times ended up with something more or less fantasy-like... Latest project is a late-medieval army for Impetus, turned into an "A Song of Ice and Fire"-based Impetus army.

Welcome to LAF, Finarfin.  It is a nice, friendly site with lots of talented people hanging about.

What figures are you using for your Song of Ice and Fire army?

Thanks guys.

What figures are you using for your Song of Ice and Fire army?

Mixed... Actually I wanted to focus on early 15th century, but I already used some miniatures that don't fit to this frame.
Mainly Perry Agincourt, some GW Bretonnians (5th edition) and some Foundry/Ebob miniatures I still had from my Rebellion-Army.
I keep records of the progress on my blog but will show some pics here, as soon as I have finished my term papers and done some painting...

Welcome! Great to see another LotR fan filter out now that the movie hysteria has petered out.

Be distracted, be very distracted.

Welcome.

Nice conversion of King Robert on your blog, Fin.  I look forward to seeing how the army progresses.
