Looking for store fronts
« on: 18 September 2011, 02:10:28 PM »
Hi Y'all!

Well, I have this rather silly project going on, pulp style. And I realised that I couldn't be bothered to build big parts of San Fransisco. However, I got the brilliant idea of just putting up store fronts for the players to move around.
The only company that sprung to my mind was old glory. I do know that their are several other makers, but my mind just forgot them at the moment.
What else is there?

/S

Not San Francisco, rather more British in fact, but how about the ones Overlord did for Outpost?

Ainsty do loads of frontages.

Try model railroad suppliers. There are several companies that do store fronts only. That is why I haven't used them, I am looking for whole buildings.

Thanks, Herby!

My first thought is to get inspired to build some myself. However, I'm a lazy git in the end, so I'll probably buy a couple :)

This model RR website has a very good technique for false front buildings. There was a similar article in model railroader magazine, check their website archive also.

You could go for worldworks printed stuff, be easy for your to do your store fronts that way. just print the pages you need. I used it extensively for you zed table, full buildings mind but the same principle applies and I was going to do some table edge stuff at some stage too.

Good luck

If you go that way, also check out Microtactix. I find their graphics a little better looking than WorldWorks :
