well I was thinking "They're OK- But foudry are better- then I noticed they are 15mm- and then I notced the price.

Good sculpts for 15mm, and good value too.

The best ever? Not sure. But very, very nice
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/

Maybe not the best sculpts ever but for a diverse range with a great variety of uses, I thinks its pretty terrific.  And what is really great is that some time early next year Blue Moon is planning to release African animals (besides the ones included in the current release in the one pack) to go with the people, plus three different villages and a "Tarzan's Rocky Abode."

They are interesting, and I'm tempted using them for a "death in the dark continent" project. But where are the archers and the tribesmen with musket?  I need them! :(

They are nice. It seems 15mm is an expanding field for Darkest Africa. Had I seen these before I began my collection in 28mm, I'd have opted for this scale.  :?

Banderium,

Make your wishes known over on the TMP forum and Russ will "hear" your request. Can't say whether he will fulfill it but, if he does, don't expect it until next year at the earliest since he is shifting focus on what sounds like it will be the largest range of Napoleonic figures ever created - thankfully not my area of interest!

I'm about to head down to the local shop to place an order for 16 packs from the range.  More later.

It would be if their were more regular forces...Zanzibaris, Naval Figures, etc. I could have done without a few of the natives in favor of more Askaris and some Ruga types

It's workable and the figures are really nice but there are still some gaps for me.

Best ever? sorry no, imho.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Blue Moon now has photos from all of the packs on their website, some pretty cool stuff for we afficionados of the smaller scale - with more to come soon that should be really cool.  London Bobbies anyone?
