For those of you interested; the car was airbrushed with a basecoat and two highlights.It was then dirtied and finally pigment were applied (pastels actually,one can pay a fortune for these;I use high quality German pastels for about 2/3s the price of the 'special' modellers pigments),and finally some discreet washes,seatbelts were nicked from a 1/48 scale aeroplane kit. I think the lenses look a bit cartoony,what do you think?

Looks very good. I don't think the lenses look cartoony at all, in fact they look very good.

Picasa,a simple program which came with my laptop,it's a bit basic,however I prefer to use old fashioned methods anyway

What, like piling flock round it ?

I prefer the hi-tech solutiom

I've got photoshop elements, that's supposed to good but it hasn't got an edit out the base button

I'll Just have to get some scenery and have a go at this

,does sound rather silly now that you put it like that

Look forward to seeing what you come up with,the entity that I use for getting rid of bases is called retouch
