Captains mentioning of Clüj won the vote for me. Reminds me of Gigi Becali...

(...)while the lesbian crew of the ‘Pokol’ steam-driven machine-gun-carriage pause to enjoy a black Turkish cheroot.(...)

"The love that dare not speak its name" has instead taken to barreling through Victorian society full steam ahead, eh?

I say, those actor types. No sense of morals. Almost as bad as Frenchmen and Anarchists.

Heh heh...
Well I'm thinking that sexual morals and proclivities amidst the gothic splendour of the savage Carpathian fastness may have been a little different to Victorian England  ;)

He's from one of the innumberable West Wind Vampire / Vampire hunter packs, but I'm afraid I can't remember which one. He's carrying a spear. The 'electro-lance' is a not-very-cunning conversion by yours truly involving the spring from a biro and a blob of milliput!

lol That's as far as the Captain will bend to conform to the aesthetics of Malamute and his posse over at VCF.

Well I figured that's what VSF enthusiasts do... Cobble together various bits of scrap and cry 'Voila! I have invented a new machine' - and it's science-fiction, so no-one can possibly argue!  The only limits are one's imagination :)

both entries are flawless

since CB appears to intend a bigger project, I allow myself to offer a Romanian adventure movie, but a about an earlier period, more closer to CB's "usual" time-slice

I hope it is funny and inspiring at the same time
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6010549769776372882#

and since the project appears to be Hungarian themed, I also offer the Hungarian name for "Cluj" (which is romanian and written without dots): Kolozsvár

But if You aim at romanian too, I could help with some translation  ;)

The only thing I am not happy with is the red-blue scheme, but this is simply a matter of taste

Where do all of these fantastic werewolves and wolves come from?

The monster in the centre must be from Retour de Dieux

Holy Crap, this is one of the toughest choices this season - together with the martian duell. I must admit I don't like the red uniforms. But I think they are one of the best I've seen from Captain Blood so far, and i had to vote for them. I was surprised at how clear the votes are.

Well Calptain, when you said at Salute that you had something special for this round, I don't think anyone could have expected this. Well done sir!

... Coming next… Prince’s Vlad’s vampiric ‘Bridal Guard’ hussars...

Did you plan to use Hinterland (Mancha's) figures for these?

I already have!  ;)
They're already painted - and Mancha had a private viewing a couple of weeks ago!  8)
Unfortunately, as I've entered them in another painting competition, I won't be able to show them here for a couple of months.
But I will due in due course  :)
