Project - The Thing miniatures
« on: October 26, 2011, 01:28:24 PM »
I loved Carpenter's The Thing movie, and the last one release on theatre this month (in france :))
I would to create a collection of miniatures related to the movie :
- 3 or 4 creatures and 3 or 4 human being.

Here is the first WIP creature :

Nice!
I am also slowly doing a the Thing project. I can't sculpt though so mainly conversions of existing miniatures.
Still waiting for the new movie here (Sweden) though, it premieres in december.
I will be watching the progress of your  project closely. :D

Great miniature and really good start.

I also intend to start a The Thing project in a few weeks.

Any ideas of the miniatures you will use for humans ?

And which rules ?

...and we could play together a The Thing game as I live near Paris.  ;)
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

I saw the movie opening weekend here in the U.S. and you did a great job with that!  :-* :-* :-*

Someone posted a new minis range that has a not-McCready mini you might want.  I don't remember what the new range is called.
