The first 1/56th scale Gear Krieg combat walker kit, the US M11 Combat Walker “General Early” will be available as a pre-order at Fall-In! at the Brigade Games dealer booth. The General Early is the first in a series of Gear Krieg combat walkers and sci-fi WW2 figures and accessories that will be released for 28mm wargaming. The kit includes the combat walker, turret and weapons accessories, as well as legs for both “walking” and “driving” modes so you can model your combat walker the way you want to.



Coming soon after the release of the General Early will be the German Valkyrie combat walker, weapons packs, crew figures and detail kits, and more. Gear Krieg is the original genre-making WW2 Dieselpunk setting from Dream Pod 9.

Beautiful kit!  Extremely faithful to the original design, with loads of detail.  I like the option of both leg types in one kit... something I find a little frustrating about the small GK vehicles.

Thanks! We've had some great talent at Sandman Design on 3D artwork and Brent's amazing detailing to create some very nice kits, working also with John Bell (GK artist and author of many GK paper kits) and Agis Neugebauer at Victory Decision/GK Battlefield Evolution to make sure the designs are accurate to GK's universe. The kits are designed to have components plug together for ease of assembly, and the legs actually slot so well into the body that you could swap them out without having to glue them in place or use magnets. Here's a production resin kit with driving mode legs.



After initial release which lets you build the M11A1C Command Walker (open-topped) and the M11A2/A3 (turreted HMG or 37mm gun M6), some additional kit components will come out so you can make a range of Early variants, like the M11A3E2 (turreted 37mm gun M6, Bazooka, Rockets), M11A4 (M16 Quad-50 HMG AA mount), and the    
M11A1E1 Rocket Artillery support walker.
