Sometimes a wargame resembles a piece of artwork, absolutely fantastic..........  ;D

Excellent as expected! What a rollicking tale of pirating goodness.

If anyone's interested, I can attach pdfs of the scenario and player sheets so you can recreate the whole thing on your own tables  :)

Love to take up the offer good Captain.

They are a mix of Brigade Games swashbuckling girls and F&IW / ECW civilians from Redoubt...

curses, looks like the one aiming the pistol only comes with the blockhouse set...

Hmmm. Maybe. You might need to buy the set of 7 or 8 figures, but you certainly don't need to buy the blockhouse itself - I didn't anyway.

Redoubt's catalogue is a bit chaotic, so it can be hard to tell sometimes. But what they did a couple of years back, was collate various 'mop cap / bonnet and skirts' female civilian figures drawn from various packs across their C16th, C17th, C18th ranges, into some new 'women and children only' generic packs.

So you might find the pistol armed shootist is also available in one of those packs...
Worth giving them a call to find out...  :)

Hi all

I was the other Richard that played in this great game.  Still not sure why I was the natural choice to play the lesbian pirate though!

It was my first time at Blam and I thoroughly enyoyed the whole weekend.  Myself and Dean spent most of the trip back to Nottingham talking about ideas for next year so It's safe to say I am hooked.

Cheers

It was your beard, much like why you were cast as a Werewolf ;)

See you next year, hopefully sooner though if we can convince Dean to travel down for some more VSF shenanigans ;)
