War Reporters Models
« on: November 08, 2011, 10:47:17 AM »
I knew that the Perrys had produced these for their Colonial ranges but these came to my attention from another thread, a lovely collecton of War Reporters that I have to buy for my games......

I've got the modern reporter - quite a nice figure. A smaller 28mm (more emperess/perry inm stature from what I can recall. Sculpting not the most technically brilliant, but very characterful.

Next to an offensive miniatures hostage....

As an aside, what other war reporters are out there?

I know Black Cat bases has a photographer, TAG has their new vietnam reporter freebie, FOA has a couple of Nam journalists, WestWind do a pack of Nam Press (film crew & photographer), Offensive do a reporter & cameraman freebie with one of their riot collections, Warlord have the BAM ww2 german cameraman, EM-4 have a near future camerman and reporter, as does copplestone.... [what makes you think that 28mm post-WW2 is my main period of interest?]

Britannia have a cameraman in their Wild West range. Superfigs have a modern video camera man with a TV reporter and a press photographer and Copplestone/eM-4 have variations of a near future video crew and reporter.

Here are the Superfigs one:

Pulp Figures has their Newshounds pack:

There is also the Deadlands Muckraker:

(May be OP but possibly still available from Jeff Valent)

There's also a pretty timeless Reporter figure in the Foundry Old West range, and the Artizan "not-Hemingway" figure might make a good war reporter as well:
